The Team

Ngaire Leaf Ngaire ("Ny-ree") has been competing since 1997, originally with team Guard Dog. Ngaire is the one who holds the team together during simulations, and makes sure everything gets done - as well as treating most of the patients. You won't catch Ngaire getting in the water very often - but she will probably be treating several patients at once on deck.

Tara Robertson Tara has been competing for the longest out of all of us. Soon after her NLS in 1997, she went on a trip to Nationals with team Backwash. Tara is both a strong technical guard - placing second in individual first aid in 2002 - and a strong swimmer. At Provincials this year (2003) Tara won the Run-Swim-Run, 100m Tow with Fins, and the 200m Iron Guard events.

Joel Sutcliffe Joel has also been competing since 1997, originally with team Scumline. He is the team captain, and is responsible for solidifying team strategies. Joel's strength is first aid skills - placing second in individual first aid in 2003. You will probably find Joel by himself somewhere with the most major patient he can find.
